Western science for most of its history has considered the mind and body as separate entities, and it is only in the last 25 years that science has proven that notion to be false. If neurotransmitters, which were once believed to be exclusively brain information chemicals that control mood, are found in the body, and have been discovered to be manufactured by the immune system also, and neuropeptides that are secreted by the immune system and endocrine system have receptors in the brain, it becomes obvious that there is a two-way communication happening.

 • Depression or mood swings

 • Anxiety, stress, tension

 • Difficulty concentrating, focusing or remembering

 • Lack of motivation

 • Insomnia

 • Sleep disturbances

 • Headaches, migraines

 • Fatigue, lack of energy

 • Weight issues, food cravings

The above are examples of what may be caused by having a diet poor in essential amino acids and other important micronutrients.

Normal chemical changes affect how the brain functions. When our neurotransmitters, such as serotonin, and norepinephrine, are properly balanced, scientific research reveals that it can have a positive effect on every aspect of your life and relationships, from sleep cycles to how we respond to stress, from self-esteem to job performance and more.

Just like fingerprints or genetics, your brain chemistry is as individual as you are! Just as one diet or one pill doesn’t work for everyone, there is no one-size-fits-all brain chemistry product or plan that will work for everyone. It must be designed just for you, for your unique requirements.

If you are ready to find out the benefits of knowing your brain chemistry, click on the web address below. A urine test kit will be sent to you, which includes postage, packaging and simple instructions to follow. As a Neurogistics Certified Practitioner (NCP), I can assist you in understanding your results and personalize your program.

 1. Go to www.neurogistics.com

 2. Take the “Self-test”

 3. Use clinician ID# M03037

 4. Purchase the recommended program

 5. Fill out your Health Profile (List all Supplements & Medications using)

 6. Our office will contact you when test results are available.

Has Neurogistics been subject to peer review?

Dear Client,

Thank you for your interest in Neurogistics. Your question regarding scientific peer reviews involves a bit of explanation. To start, I have attached a number of documents that could be helpful. First, is a reference list of studies that have been conducted in our field that substantiate different aspects of urinary neurotransmitter testing and amino acid therapy. The extent of the studies listed give credence to use of both the testing modality and the therapy. However, it is important to note that the studies do not reflect the comprehensive remediation that occurs with a customized protocol based on an individual’s test results. This type of study would be difficult to conduct due to the nature of neurotransmitter profiles. Each individual has a unique profile and protocols are also individualized based on specific levels and ratios.

Urinary neurotransmitter testing has existed in Germany for the last 16 years and in the U.S. since 2002. During that time over a million tests have been conducted and normative data on 200,000 individuals has been compiled on optimal neurotransmitter levels. I am attaching a PDF with a study by Dr. Manz, the inventor of the Germany assays.

Additionally, amino acid therapy has existed since the early 1900 when is was used exclusively by physicians to treat conditions like depression. It fell out of mainstream favor in the late 1980’s when anti-depressants were widely introduced. However, complementary and alternative practitioners have continued to use this type of therapy with excellent results. We have taken this one step further by combining a testing modality and a therapy to match it to hone in on the specific levels and ratios in an attempt to balance brain chemistry. The results illustrate that individuals are capable of regenerating and rebalancing neurotransmitters which can have a great impact of many aspects of their health.

Here is an additional link to the study with the Russian adoptees. I had the privilege of working with these children post-study to customize the protocols and have been following them for the duration. http://www.magazine.tcu.edu/articles/2006-01-cv.asp
